[Abstract]:

He graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Peking University with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Peking University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
His research focuses on machine learning algorithms and their applications in metabolomics, genomics, and epigenetics. The STAR genome browser, STAR bioinformatics process package, and ChromaSig 2.0 systems have been developed to participate in epigenetics. Roadmap Project (Epigenomic Roadmap). The research results were published in internationally renowned scientific journals such as Nature, Cell, Nucleic Acid Research, and Bioinformatics, and served as judges for 20 international academic journals including Nucleic Acid Research. With years of experience as a senior scientist in leading companies in the field of genetic testing, he is involved in the development of core bioinformatics process packages, mutation detection procedures, sequence big data analysis and processing, and laboratory information platform construction, in information technology, big data platforms, Machine learning and extensive experience in second-generation sequencing gene detection.
